Buying a home in San Diego can be the most exhilarating and the most annoying process ever. You need to be sure to select a real estate professional who understands your needs and can make them happen.

The home buying process starts with an interview to find out about YOU. Who you are, what you want, and where you want to be.  We sit down over a cup of java, or a craft beer and talk. Actually you talk and I listen. It is an interview for all of us, we then decide if we want to work together.

Please read my page about what a buyers agent does.

The fun stage: Finding the home that really calls to you. This can take awhile. Viewing houses is the best part. I love seeing homes so I attend brokers, and try to view the inventory. You might even find me as a docent for home tours.

With over 30 years of rehab experience, my view of the home buying process is a little different.   I help you evaluate the physical systems.   IE  the house is charming but falling apart. Or really ugly but pretty sound.

Then you need someone who can make it happen: beat out the other 10 people who really wanted that house.  With over 9 years of experience, I know lots of agents and I know how to write offers that wins.

Finally making the process of escrow go smoothly and successfully. I work with you to understand the process, make sense of the documents and act as your advocate. Together we make magic happen.

Finally the best part……keys to your new home
